Her personal mission is to help marginalised individuals and communities; find equitable space in all fields, by helping them develop their potentials to a level of self sustenance.

The same has been evident from accolades and testimonials received by her from various United States Govt. Departments, Education Ministry Singapore, ITEES Singapore, Walmart INC, Bharti Walmart, Tata Group, Academia and Corporate and Government Stakeholders

Her driving force is the personal experiences she has had in bringing up a differently abled child as a single parent. “I believe that it is possible to create an equitable society if we combine our resources and work towards a common good rather than individual advantage. This belief has been validated time and again in various challenges that I have faced and overcome both professionally and personally.”

Though she started her career in the field of Sales and Marketing, she consciously chose to move to Skill Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, as she felt that through this avenue she could converge her personal mission and professional competencies, and serve an organisation with heart and soul.

She has to her credit taking initiatives for

  • Enabling persons with special abilities
  • working for women in distress for All India Women Council and Inmates at Tihar Jail
  • It was because of all these initiatives that the CSR project was highlighted in the Forbes Magazine 2011 August Edition.

During her professional journey she has served social development projects for Walmart INC through Centum Learning, Department of Training and Technical Education - Government of Delhi & Confederation of Indian Industry.

Ms. Maneesha Sharma has been an honoured speaker, anchor and Judge on various social development, HR and Human Right Platforms – her life journey has been the reason of transforming many youth who are now productively employed in the Industry.
